Sustainable Procurement Intern DP World

Sabina Craciun Panicker is a 20-year-old Romanian-Indian undergraduate, studying Political Science and Government at NYU Abu Dhabi. An H.H. Sheikha Fatima Awardee, Forbes Global Youth Advisor, and inaugural Laidlaw scholar, she has been lauded for her work in climate governance at both the domestic and international levels, presenting sustainable finance solutions on-campus at Stanford's Doerr School of Sustainability, Harvard's Kennedy School, and Princeton's Department of Economics. She serves as Executive Manager of Mubadala and NYU Stern's Transition Investment Lab, where she supports relationships with SWFs and family offices across 33 countries, convening institutions representing $5.2T AUM around the newest academic insights on sustainable investment in emerging markets. At DP World, she consolidates sustainability due diligence across 70+ global ports; previously, at the High Court of India, she apprenticed in climate litigation, policing coastal water pollution in Maharashtra as a member of the International Bar Association. In parallel, she researches UAE renewable-energy investment across the Global South with NYU Stern and focuses on ensuring institutional capital flows toward the planet. Across this work, Sabina's consistent focus has been aligning capital markets, infrastructure oversight, and regulatory design with sustainable, water-secure development — a perspective she now brings to the Global Youth Water Envoys Program and its work ahead of the 2026 UN Water Conference.
