The Global Water Youth Envoys Program is a global youth initiative bringing together up to 100 young leaders aged 18–35 from across six global regions, with a focus on young people from water-stressed areas. From September to November 2026, selected Envoys will take part in virtual capacity-building, thematic training and engagement opportunities, leading up to the UN Water Conference.

Applications for the Global Water Youth Envoys Program are now closed. The Envoys have been selected following the application and selection process.
The Global Water Youth Envoys are young leaders aged 18–35 who are working, studying or advocating on water-related issues in their communities and beyond. They represent diverse backgrounds, regions and areas of expertise, bringing youth perspectives into global conversations on water.
Selected Envoys will participate in virtual capacity-building and training, develop thematic expertise, engage with national delegations and contribute to youth participation around the six Interactive Dialogues of the UN Water Conference. They will also have opportunities to share their experiences and perspectives on water challenges affecting their communities.
