Out of thousands of applications, 100 Envoys were selected by a steering committee of leading expert voices in global water action, including; Association of Young Water and Sanitation Professionals of Senegal (AJPEAS), Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), International Secretariat for Water, International Water Association (IWA), Latin America and the Caribbean Youth Parliament for Water, UN Major Group for Children & Youth -Water Youth Network, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), UNESCO, UNICEF, WaterAid, and World Water Council.
These 100 Global Youth Water Envoys represent a new generation of leadership rising from every region to confront one of the world's most urgent challenges.
In the lead-up to the UN Water Conference, Envoys will deepen their expertise and sharpen their capacity to lead: preparing them to shape global dialogue, deliver impact in their own communities, and ensure youth voices carry real weight in the water agenda's next chapter.
