Raniyah Muhammed is a Fijian climate and development practitioner and Principal Consultant of Duha Consulting. With over five years of experience, she has worked across climate resilience, community development, social safeguards and inclusive development, including extensive work with informal settlement communities through the RISE Programme. Her work has placed particular emphasis on the meaningful participation and representation of women, young people and vulnerable groups in development processes. Raniyah has held youth leadership and advocacy roles, including serving as Fiji's National Coordinator for the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network. She is also a Young Pacific Leaders alumna and an alumna of Fiji’s Women’s Mock Parliament. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Climate Change from the University of the South Pacific. Her work and interests centre on climate resilience, community-led development, inclusive representation and ensuring that the voices of Pacific communities are reflected in the decisions that affect them.
