Priyanka Nandi is a mother and an engineer contributing in the water and energy sector for the last 7 years. She has done her masters in Food Engineering and Technology and is currently developing climate and water smart solutions. Her solution is impacting the life of farmers in South East Asia and saving the future generation of Bangladesh from toxic elements spread through water. As a Chief Product Officer at Cassetex Limited, she is leading the innovation in water-tech and agri-tech to minimize climate and health impact. By replacing lead batteries with an affordable, accessible and sustainable energy network of Cassetex, she is saving 36 million children's lives in Bangladesh. For her contribution in women empowerment, minimizing lead contamination in water and a toxic element free agri-food system, she is honored as IRENA NewGen Rising Star Award 2025. She is also a Global Future Energy Leader, under the “World Energy Council” where exceptional young professionals united by their commitment to shape a sustainable future. With a cohort of 100+ youth from 100+ countries she is driving a global change.
