Management Associate Rising Youth Singapore

Prithpal Kaur founded Rising Youth Singapore, an initiative connecting underserved youth with professionals across finance, law, consulting and healthcare to help them create their professional networks. The idea grew from a simple observation that talent is everywhere, but access to professional networks is not. Many young people from humble backgrounds face major education and career decisions with no one to turn to beyond their immediate family, not because of a lack of ambition, but because of the lack of access. Over the past year, she built Rising Youth Singapore from the ground up: securing funding, forming partnerships with tertiary institutions and rallying professionals to commit their time to an idea with no track record previously. The initiative has since run numerous sessions, pairing students with professionals for real conversations and personalised feedback. Prithpal has also served as a delegate and project lead at the 2nd and 5th ASEAN University Students Council Union, working with students across ASEAN nations to develop joint policy recommendations on youth issues. Across both experiences, her focus has stayed the same: to close the gap between young people and decisions that shape their futures.
