Omega Shaba is a Malawian postgraduate student pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations, with a concentration in International Development, at United States International University Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, with a concentration in Development Studies and a minor in Psychology. She also holds a diploma in computing. She is passionate about international development, diplomacy, humanitarian work, youth engagement, and community development. Her interest in these areas has encouraged her to take part in different volunteer and community initiatives. She currently volunteers with the Kenya Red Cross Society, and has also supported refugee children through community volunteering in Nairobi. She gained professional experience as a Diplomatic Affairs Assistant intern at the Malawi High Commission in Nairobi, where she supported diplomatic work and participated in meetings involving international and regional organisations. These experiences have strengthened her interest in international cooperation and the role of young people in addressing global challenges. Omega is a curious, community-minded person who enjoys learning, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and contributing to causes that can make a positive difference in people's lives.
