Mustafa Doğan is a legal professional and international relations researcher based in Türkiye, focusing on climate diplomacy, international law, and strategic policy. Holding a law degree and currently studying International Relations at Anadolu University, Mustafa approaches global environmental and water challenges through a strong legal and diplomatic lens. His dedication to climate action is deeply rooted in his past role as an EU Climate Ambassador and his hands on experience with UNESCO’s Ocean Literacy initiatives in Venice at IOC, where he worked on marine sustainability and regional dynamics across the Black Sea and Mediterranean. Mustafa also has an extensive background in multilateral diplomacy, having served as a NATO Youth Delegate and Head Observer for JEF Europe. Currently, he works as a Trainee Lawyer and contributes as a researcher to the NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO). Coming from a modest background, Mustafa has built his career on resilience, practical problem solving, and a drive to fight for a seat at the table. He is highly motivated to translate complex diplomatic frameworks into actionable, real world water policies.
