Leandre Ngabirano
CEO Imuhira Green Farms
Ngabirano Leandre holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Burundi, specializing in children and adolescent psychoeducation. His work in this field focuses on helping individuals and families rediscover a sense of vision, purpose, and collective responsibility, particularly by encouraging family leaders to develop a clear vision for their families and communities. He is also the Founder and CEO of Imuhira Green Farms, an agribusiness venture focused on organic food production, sustainable agriculture, land restoration, biodiversity protection, and climate-resilient farming. Through Imuhira Green Farms, he promotes agriculture as a pathway to economic opportunity while encouraging responsible management of natural resources, including water and soil. He is a speaker, entrepreneur, and youth mentor, passionate about empowering young people to discover their potential and contribute to sustainable community development. He is an alumnus of UNLEASH Talent 2023, YALI Dakar, the McKinsey Forward Program, ALX Africa, FAST program by Mastercard Foundation, and other leadership and innovation programs. Through his entrepreneurial and community work, he seeks to connect youth leadership, agriculture, water stewardship, and climate resilience to create more prosperous and sustainable communities.
