Leah Clement Kabaniani
Public Relations officer TUCTA migrants workers
Leah Clement Kabaniani is a Tanzanian youth leader, Public Relations professional and community development advocate passionate about youth and women's empowerment, communication, and climate action. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Dodoma. She currently works as a Public Relations Officer with TUCTA's migrant workers programme and has experience in digital business, community engagement, leadership and youth-focused initiatives. Leah is passionate about creating opportunities for young people to participate in addressing challenges affecting their communities, using her communication background to make technical climate and water information more accessible to the public. She is also interested in climate and water issues and the role of young people in building resilient communities, particularly how clear, community-facing communication can help translate policy commitments on water and climate into action that ordinary Tanzanians understand and can act on. Through the Global Youth Water Envoys Program, Leah hopes to strengthen her ability to connect grassroots communication with international water and climate advocacy.
