Elyse Blondell
Relationship Manager CDP
Elyse Blondell is a sustainability and international development professional working at the intersection of environmental data, policy and stakeholder engagement. She currently works at CDP, supporting financial institutions and corporates on environmental disclosure across climate, forests and water. Previously, she worked at the Commonwealth Secretariat on climate resilience, biodiversity and sustainable land management across Commonwealth member states, coordinating engagement with governments, civil society organisations and technical experts. Elyse holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London and a BA in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto. Her academic and professional work has focused on environmental governance, climate resilience and the relationship between environmental challenges and social equity. She has also worked to strengthen international collaboration on water issues as a member of the Young Scientific Programme Committee for Stockholm International Water Institute’s World Water Week, where she contributed to shaping sessions bringing together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from around the world. Elyse is particularly interested in how young professionals can help connect research, policy and community knowledge to accelerate practical action on water and climate challenges.
