Sem Jrmie BOYMBONGO-NDOYE is Central African civil engineer, his current student for a degree of master of Climate Change Engineering (PAUWES, University of Tlemcen, Algeria) is specialized in the areas of construction; infrastructure monitoring, water and sanitation, project management and participatory infrastructure development. In his job career as civil engineer, he participated in several construction and rehabilitation works where technical monitoring was coupled with quality control, risk management, stakeholder coordination and community participation. His research interests lies in climate resilience, water governance, hydraulic infrastructure adaptation, risk assessment and cartography using GIS, and sustainable development in the African context. The primary interest of this academic is to develop efficient and innovative ways in response to water management related issues, and reinforce community resistance to the impacts of climate change. Through his academic experiences, professional skills and involvement in a number of water and climate international forums, Sem envisages contributing to Water policy and governance being evidence based, so that to enhance resilient and sustainable hydraulic infrastructures inAfricaand especially in Central Africa.
